Roger Waters, 73 anni, è sempre stato creato l'autentica mente e il genio creativo di Pink Floyd, almeno nell'era post Barrett.
La band ha sempre puntato moltissimo sull'organizzazione e sulle scenografie durante i concerti e anche questa volta Roger ha dato esempio di grande organizzazione e meticolosità nella cura dei dettagli: megaschermi, effetti sonori, grande musica, luci e cura dei dettagli.
E' quanto è successo domenica 9 ottobre al primo weekend del Desert Trip Festival che lo ha visto esibirsi in un concerto che aspettavameno da mesi.
Inizialmente Waters si è affidato alle atmosfere quiete, ma cariche di tensione ed emozione, di "Breathe" e "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun"; in un continuo intreccio di suoni, immagini e luci, l'intero concerto è stato un'autentica escalation.
Roger, ancora una volta, ha celebrato la grandezza dei Pink Floyd attraverso la loro muisca.si è dipanata in crescendo, all'insegna della celebrazione della magia che i Pink Floyd erano in grado di creare.
